Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use trystoryloom.com or buy from StoryLoom, a service operated by Summit Pine Ventures LLC, 2106 House Ave Suite 579, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to order.
The service
StoryLoom helps you turn your memories into a printed book. You answer guided questions, we turn your answers into a book, and we print and ship it. Every plan includes the same set of questions. A shorter plan sends you more questions each week so your book is ready sooner, and a longer plan sends fewer. What your order includes is shown at checkout.
Membership and payment
Your plan is a membership. You pay the price shown at checkout for the first term. Unless you cancel, the membership renews automatically for further terms of the same length at the same price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each term. A 3-month plan renews every 3 months, a 6-month plan every 6 months and a 12-month plan every 12 months. Renewals stop when your book is sent to print. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and your payment method is saved securely with them for renewals and for extras you choose to add.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@trystoryloom.com at least 48 hours before your next renewal. Your membership stays active until the end of the term you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Refunds
The service starts as soon as you order, so payments are not refunded, except where a product is faulty or the law requires it. If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, tell us at hello@trystoryloom.com within 30 days of delivery, with a photo, and we will reprint it or refund it.
Printing and delivery
Your book is printed after you approve it. Delivery times depend on your country and the carrier, and any customs charges are yours to pay.
Your content
Your stories and photos remain yours. You give us permission to store, edit, format and print them in order to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to use what you submit, and you agree not to submit content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by automated means without our permission.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally. Disputes are brought in the courts of Wyoming and on an individual basis only, not as part of a class action.
